{"id":5296,"date":"2022-03-08T12:47:48","date_gmt":"2022-03-08T12:47:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/britishhipsociety.com\/?p=5296"},"modified":"2022-03-08T12:47:48","modified_gmt":"2022-03-08T12:47:48","slug":"injectable-biologics-guidance-from-the-boa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/epic-kilby.51-89-237-181.plesk.page\/index.php\/2022\/03\/08\/injectable-biologics-guidance-from-the-boa\/","title":{"rendered":"Injectable biologics guidance from the BOA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The BOA has recently produced an information document on the use of injectable \u2018orthobiologic\u2019 treatments as an option for osteoarthritis and published it on their website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boa.ac.uk\/resources\/injectable-orthobiologic-treatments-for-osteoarthritis.html\">HERE<\/a>\u00a0 <\/span><span class=\"s1\">In recent years there has been growing interest in the use of these treatments which has increased due to the disruption to surgical treatments that occurred during the course of the COVID-19 pandemic.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">Patient organisations have approached the BOA for information and in response they have written the paper to help inform people who are thinking about trying \u2018orthobiologic\u2019 treatments.
