Dear Members,<\/p>

Greetings & hope you are well! Pleased to present the highlights from September & October.<\/p>

The inaugural BHS-AHS Travelling Fellowship concluded at the BOA annual congress in Birmingham. The fellows travelled to ten centres in the UK over three weeks and had a very fruitful educational and social experience. I am ever so grateful to Henry Wynn Jones and the local hosts: Fares Haddad, John Skinner, Justin Cobb, Matt Wilson, Ajay Malviya, Tim Petherham, Dominic Meek, Sanjeev Patil, Ian Kennedy, Anil Gambhir, Simon Buckley & Callum McBryde, who gave up an immense amount of their time to prepare an excellent academic and social programme for the Fellows in each centre. The BHS plans to continue this Fellowship on annual basis and if you are interested in hosting Fellows for 2023, please do get in touch with me –\u00a0president@britishhipsociety.com<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>

The BHS instructional sessions at the BOA on Data driven decisions, Technology disruption in hip surgery and Modernising care of young patients with hip pain along with the Charnley lecture by Prof. Martyn Porter were very well received. Again, a big thanks to all the speakers for excellent presentations and to the Charnley Trust for supporting the lecture.<\/p>

Preparations are on in full swing for the BHS Annual Meeting in Edinburgh from 8th<\/sup>\u00a0to 10th<\/sup>\u00a0of March 2023. We have added a few new features to the meeting including a new format for the Topics in Focus. So do book your leave and register soon!\u00a0<\/p>
